Characteristic:
White crystalline powder with superior taste
much more similar to the taste of sugar, which is removed the aftertaste
of common stevioside by advanced enzyme technology. It overcomes
such shortcomings of common stevioside as uneven purity and low
dissolution. It is 100-200 times sweeter than sugar. It can replace
as much as 70%-100% cane sugar owing to its good sweet taste, which
lowers the production cost greatly. Commonly lactose and maltodextrin
are used as dispersing agent to reduce the sweetness to 0.5-1 times
of that of cane sugar. It is stable in food processing like SPE
and is improved solubility and hydroscopic property by enzymatic
process, which makes it perfect for all kind drinks.
Application:
Sweetener, mainly used for low-calorie food,
diet beverage, carbonated beverage, fruit juice, cold drinks, sports
drinks, alcoholic drinks, cakes, sauces and flavoring, candied fruit,
salted and dried products and aquatic products.
